What is a Bakki Shower?
A Bakki Shower represents the pinnacle of Koi pond bio-filtration. A series of Stainless steel troughs or 'tiers' are filled with 'Bacteria House' ceramic media. Pond water is passed over this unit at around 100 - 200% volume per hour which smashes the water molecule down and allows it to intake loads of oxygen.
The 'Bacteria House' media has a massive surface area for bacteria to colonize and consume waste, no prefilter is required! Other benefits are a lower TDS and therefore increased growth and healthier koi. Our units use only the genuine Bacteria House Media imported from Japan.
Bakki Showers can be used as a primary filtration unit but it is better to combine these units with other mechanical filters such as UltraSieve's or EazyPOD's
